Retreats
From time to time we all need to pause and step away from the multi-tasking of modern life. One way to do this is to go on a retreat. Retreats provide the perfect occasion to nurture ourselves so we can emerge with a renewed perspective of our every day lives. A retreat is not simply a vacation, but a time to reflect, rest, heal, and renew our spirit. A retreat gives us time for uninterrupted meditation where we can go deep within and spend time with our true essence. Our mind, body and spirit are awakened to the beauty of tastes, sights, and sounds of nature and the environment we often take for granted.

Back to Nature Retreat testimony "I've attended a few of the
retreats and have truly loved the experience! The first time I went I was a little
scared of being away from technology for a couple of days (no cell service, no
internet, no TV, no hairdryers) but what I discovered is that having a 48 hour
break from all those things is liberating. The "noise" of everyday
life is quieted down and you have time to gain some perspective. Danielle plans
yoga classes, discussions, and other events but there is never pressure to attend,
so if you need a little extra quiet time there are many places to find it
there. If you are in any way feeling constantly rushed, looking for clarity on
a situation in life or just needing some downtime, I think you'll find the
retreat a blessing. The food is all vegetarian/vegan but I've seen confirmed
meat & potato eaters enjoy the food too." - M.O.

"Every now and then - go away. Have a little relaxation. For when you come back to your work, your judgment will be surer. To remain constantly at work will cause you to lose the power of judgment. Go some distance away because then the work appears smaller and a lack of harmony or proportion is more readily seen."
